Jacob R. Hidrowoh, Ph.D., J.D., MBA, has built his career at the intersection of law, business, and education. Trained as an attorney in international contracting, he served as General Counsel of the holding company that operated energy companies in Ecuador and the region before devoting his doctoral research, in Organizational Leadership, to a problem that defines an entire generation: the gap between what people save for retirement and the income they will actually need.
Today he is an MBA professor at Houston Christian University, where he teaches working professionals, and he maintains a strategy practice focused on retirement income architecture, as a licensed insurance producer. He has taught since 2009 and has trained more than 5,000 people across university classrooms, company boardrooms, and training programs.
His most recent facet has made him a Latino voice in artificial intelligence applied to business: he has created and managed more than a dozen companies powered by AI and trains teams seeking to adopt it with judgment — AI proposes; the person verifies and decides. He is the author of books on leadership, growth, and retirement income, and an active voice for financial education in the Hispanic community in the United States.
His work is also expressed in independent institutions — The Top Minds, tuIUL, IUL Growth, and Escudo Vida — each dedicated, in its field, to financial education and architecture. His growth philosophy, E-Growth, shapes his daily practice: nothing is left hanging without a date or a 'no,' and he signs only what he can defend. He lives in Houston, Texas, with his family.
